Arsenal join race for Pep Guardiola favourite

Arsenal are big fans of Juventus star Andrea Cambiaso and could make a move for the former Manchester City target this summer.
Nicolo Schira reports that the Gunners are admirers of the versatile Italy international, who can play in multiple positions but is most comfortable at left or right wing-back.
Schira says that Arsenal are a team to watch this summer in regards to Cambiaso, especially if Oleksandr Zinchenko leaves the club this summer as expected.
Cambiaso is also wanted by AC Milan and Nottingham Forest, While Atletico Madrid could increase their interest if they fail to sign Andy Robertson from Liverpool.
Cambiaso to leave Juventus?
Schira says that Juventus want to keep Cambiaso this summer, while the player is waiting for a contract renewal offer from the club.
However, in the event of a massive offer, Juventus could consider a sale.
This is what happened during the January transfer window when Cambiaso was close to joining Man City for around €60 million.
Pep Guardiola is known to be a big fan of the player but in the end the deal fell through despite being at an dvanced stage.
City are no longer interested in Cambiaso after signing Rayan Ait-Nouri from Wolves.

Cambiaso is a tactically very flexible and unorthodox player, who can interpret multiple positions and roles on the pitch.
Naturally, he is a both-footed full-back or wing-back who can play on either side. But he has also played as a winger and as a central midfielder for Juventus.
As a full-back, he loves to get forward and to invert by cutting inside and joining the centre of the field as a playmaker. He is technically excellent, creative and a good dribbler.
He can occasionally switch off, be too laidback and take unnecessary risks, leading to a few costly mistakes this season, but his ceiling for growth is high.
Cambiaso joined Juventus from Genoa in 2022 and after a season on loan at Bologna has established himself as one of Serie A’s best full-backs.
He has also been capped 14 times by Italy, scoring three goals. He played for Italy at Euro 2024.
