Chelsea Transfer News Today: Agreement reached after Sesko decision

All the latest Chelsea transfer news in one place, including updates on Benjamin Sesko, Nico Williams and Hugo Ekitike.
Chelsea end Sesko pursuit

Chelsea are no longer interested in RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko, despite their long-standing pursuit of the Slovenia international. The Blues are among the clubs that have been courting him since last year.
Chelsea recently signed Liam Delap for €35 million and believe that Sesko is too similar a player to the England youth international, so they feel that there is no longer any need to pursue him.
Sesko is currently in talks with Arsenal over a summer transfer, while Saudi clubs have also enquired about him.
Man Utd making progress in Ekitike pursuit

Man Utd are stepping up their interest in Eintracht Frankfurt striker Hugo Ekitike, who is also a key target for Chelsea. However, the Blues already made it clear earlier this month that they won't pay his €100m asking price.
That figure is also a sticking point for cash-strapped Man Utd, but their exploratory talks with Frankfurt and the player have now been confirmed by a host of credible sources.
Ekitike is said to be open to a move to Man Utd, having supported them growing up.
Chelsea make Petrovic agreement

Chelsea and goalkeeper Djordje Petrovic have made a 'gentleman's agreement' to allow the Serbia international to leave the club for €30m this summer.
Petrovic explicitly asked to be excluded from Chelsea's Club World Cup squad to be able to pursue a transfer away from Stamford Bridge after being sent out on loan last season.
Petrovic is expected to receive significant interest. Strasbourg would like to re-sign him, but they will likely only become an option should he fail to secure a move to a bigger side.
Chelsea cool Williams interest

Chelsea appear to have given up on their hopes of signing Nico Williams after being informed by the player that he wants to join Barcelona this summer.
The Blues are long-standing admirers of the left-winger, but they have cooled their interest following his decision to prioritise a move to Catalunya.
Barcelona are currently studying the feasibility of a potential move considering that signing Williams will require a massive financial outlay.
Lyon set Fofana price

Olympique Lyon have slapped a €50m asking price on Malick Fofana after Chelsea registered their interest in him earlier this week.
The Blues enquired about him, but they are still prioritising a move for Jamie Gittens after failing with an attempt to sign him in the first summer window.
Man Utd and Liverpool are also credited with an interest in Fofana, but neither has as yet made a move for the Belgium international.
Three set to leave Chelsea

Chelsea academy graduates Alfie Gilchrist and Teddy Sharman-Lowe are expected to leave the club this summer. The former spent the season on loan at Sheffield United and is fielding interest from Championship clubs.
Gilchrist is likely to pursue a permanent exit, whereas Sharman-Lowe will be sent out on loan after signing a new two-year contract with the Stamford Bridge club.
Chelsea defender Zak Sturge could also be on the way out, with Millwall reportedly in talks to sign him on a permanent deal.
